After the “Smallville” panel at San Diego Comic-Con on Sunday (July 25), Zap2it spoke to the cast and the executive producers.

In the final season, Clark (Tom Welling) will be making his final stride to earning the “Superman” title. Along the way, he’ll deal with some demons, though.

“Not only are we exploring some physical and actual ghosts from the past,” says executive producer, Brian Peterson. “But there are some metaphorical ghosts we are exploring as far as his inner turmoil.”

One ghost from Clark’s past seemed to keep popping up in our conversations with the producers and the stars. Will Kristin Kreuk, who played Clark’s original star-crossed love interest, return?

“We’d love to have Kristin back, but like a lot of actors, she’s very busy,” says Peterson. “And, so we have some thoughts. We have the door open. Right now, that hasn’t happened to work out. We want her back. We love her.”

Kreuk left the show in 2008 as her character’s tumultuous relationship with Clark ended with her being, well, walking kryptonite. Since then, she has appeared on “Chuck.” Her agent has denied recent rumors that she’ll return, though.

When we spoke to “Smallville’s” star, Tom Welling, he tells us he had a scene in mind in case Kreuk does sign on.

“A great scene, I think, would be to get Clark, Lois and Lana together. And then like, ‘Um, sooooo?’” As he looks around and laughs.

Smallville costars Kristen Kreuk and Allison Mack will be emcees at the gala dinner for the Young Women in Business’s second annual Beyond Pink leadership conference.

Not only is Mack an actor, but she has also directed an episode of Smallville. That experience led to her opening a production company, Parvati Creative Inc., with Kreuk and Rose Bhura. Her company will focus on “human-centric films as seen through a female lens”.

Kreuk graced our cover when she portrayed a Muslim woman in the 2007 Vic Sarin feature Partition, a drama set during the division of India and Pakistan in 1947.

Keynote speakers at the dinner will include Katie Dunsworth and Andrea Baxter of the Vancouver-based Smart Cookies.

The dinner, to be held on November 14 (7 to 9:30 p.m.) at the Hyatt Regency Hotel (655 Burrard Street), will cap off the two-day conference designed for young women to participate in workshops, discussions, and networking. (This year’s theme is “stand up and stand out”.)

50 more tickets for the gala dinner were released (gala-only tickets are $100), but the deadline for buying them is today (November 6). They can be purchased at the Beyond Pink Eventbrite page.

If I didn’t know better I’d say Chuck’s got a thing for Superman.

On the heels of Brandon Routh’s casting as a love interest for Sarah comes word that Smallville vet Kristin Kreuk is joining Chuck for multiple episodes as Hannah, a girl Chuck meets on a flight to Paris. “Chuck and Hannah definitely have feelings for each other,” teases an insider.

Laid off from her glamorous publishing job, Hannah ends up working at the Buy More. (I’m sure that won’t prove distracting to the horny nerd herders at all!)

This marks Kreuk’s first major TV gig since leaving Smallville. SOURCE

Kristin Kreuk: Hi, it’s Kristin Kreuk, and my green tip is to use cloth bags. I think it’s really beneficial.

Alexandra Paul: Hi, I’m Alexandra Paul, and here’s my green tip of the day: If you are going to go out and buy something, first ask yourself, do you need it? Do you really need it? And secondly, if you feel like you don’t really need it, but hey, you really want it? Really look and see if you really want it. And the third question to ask yourself, ‘Is it really going to make my life better?’ And after that? Maybe you won’t really buy that thing.

The world has a funny way of supporting good things. That’s what Tamara Lelie and “Smallville” actress Kristin Kreuk concluded when their worlds collided in March 2007. Lelie and Kreuk met at a coffee shop and immediately bonded over their passion for empowering females.

“Kristin said ‘I like your earrings’ and we started chatting,” says Lelie. “I drove her home to avoid the paparazzi photographer lurking outside, and we’ve been friends ever since.”

That chance meeting culminated as Time out for Teens, a holistic overnight retreat for girls ages 14 to 17. It was a natural pairing of of Lelie’s Time Out Retreat and Kreuk’s Girls by Design, which she co-founded with “Smallville” co-worker, Kendra Voth. …READ THE REST HERE
